Barclays Private Bank has made two significant senior hires.

The two new joiners are Olivier Franceshelli, who becomes head of private banking for Monaco; and Alan Werlau, the new head of investments for Barclays Bank in Ireland.

Mr  Franceschelli will be charged with delivering tailored services and solutions to high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients in the region.

He previously held the role of co-business head at CFM Indosuez in Monaco, leading the bank’s relationship management teams.
