Brown Shipley chairman resigns after 6 months

The chairman of Brown Shipley, Michael Cole-Fontayn, has resigned to take a new role, thewealthnet can reveal.

According to a company memo, Mr Cole-Fontayn had stepped down with immediate effect and would be replaced by former chairman Rory Tapner on an interim basis.

Mr Tapner would also continue his role as chair of Brown Shipley’s parent, Quintet.
