Butterfield Bank in Jersey has appointed Robert Kirkby to its board as a director.
He was previously an advisory partner at big four accountancy firm KPMG in the Channel Islands, where he was responsible for a number of areas in the consulting business including transactions, digital, regulatory and strategy.
In addition, he was the lead for KPMG across the international finance centres for risk and regulatory matters in the fund/trust and corporate sector.
