Coutts has hired senior private banker Oliver Hartley from Credit Suisse.

Mr Hartley joined Coutts earlier this month as a director, having worked for Credit Suisse since 2018.

He previously worked for Coutts between 2010 and 2018, as an international private banker.

Mr Hartley was in the army before starting his career in the City as a stockbroker for NatWest.

Coutts announced last month that it had hired Adam Brownlee as an investment director into its private office.
