Deutsche rolls out compliant WhatsApp feature for client comms

Deutsche Bank has rolled out new technology which will allow staff to communicate with clients via WhatsApp in a compliant manner.

The bank has partnered with a cloud messaging platform, Symphony, on the project. Symphony also helped the bank bring in a WeChat messaging service in late 2019 – WeChat being a popular messaging and social media platform in China.
