The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has appointed Ruairi O’Connell OBE as its director of international.
Mr O’Connell joins the FCA from the UK Home Office after nearly two years where he was also the international director.
He has experience in both the Home Office and the Foreign Office, including being the British ambassador to Kosovo.
In his new role, he will be responsible for shaping the FCA’s international strategy and overseeing its international engagement.
