The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is establishing a new advisory committee to work on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues, and is looking for stakeholders to join.
Earlier this year, FCA board formed a new ESG advisory committee to help execute its ESG-related responsibilities.
The board was formed to meet the UK government’s expectation that the FCA "has regard" to the UK’s commitment to achieving a net zero economy by 2050 within its objectives and functions.
