FCA makes flurry of senior appointments amid transformation

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has appointed six directors, including Matthew Long as director of payments and digital assets as well as Karen Baxter, director of strategy, policy, international and intelligence.

Mr Long will join the FCA in October. In his newly created role, he will be responsible for overseeing the e-money, payment and crypto asset markets, and leading related policy development.
