The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is set to appoint Richard Lloyd as its interim chair, according to a report from Sky News.
He will replace Charles Randell who will step down as the regulator's chairman in the spring of 2022.
According to the report, Mr Lloyd, who was the former boss of consumer choice group Which? from 2011 until 2016, could be named as the acting chairman as early as this week.
