Staff at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) have voted for strike action according to Unite - the union representing FCA staff.
The ballot closed with over 75 percent voting in favour of industrial action and a further 89.8 percent also voted to support industrial action short of strike action.
This vote for strike action is a first for the FCA workforce.
