FCA workforce votes to strike for the first time

Staff at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) have voted for strike action according to Unite - the union representing FCA staff. 

The ballot closed with over 75 percent voting in favour of industrial action and a further 89.8 percent also voted to support industrial action short of strike action.

This vote for strike action is a first for the FCA workforce.

This follows on from February, when the majority (87 percent) of FCA staff - who are members of Unite - voted in support of industrial action...
