Female entrepreneurs launched record number of UK businesses in 2022

Last year saw a record number of women founding businesses, according to a report – the Rose Review – from the NatWest Group.

In 2022, women in the UK established over 150,000 new companies, which is more than twice as many as in 2018.

The findings also showed that 16 to 25-year-old women founded nearly 17,500 businesses in 2022, a figure more than 22 times greater than in 2018.
