Gina Miller, founder of SCM Direct, has distanced herself from Best for Britain, a group campaigning for the UK to remain in the EU. Ms Miller described the campaign as “undemocratic” in an interview with the Daily Telegraph.
Ms Miller said “it was a good decision” for her to part ways with the group, which according to the Telegraph is trying “to undermine Theresa May” and is targeting MPs to get them to vote against any final Brexit deal. It hopes this will trigger a second referendum or general election. Ms Miller said this “is not where I think we should be going.”
