The global high-net-worth individual (HNWI) population grew by 7.8 percent in 2021, with their wealth growing by eight percent.
The growth follows a recovery of economies which have been boosted by the stock market, according to research by technology and consultancy services provider Capegemini.
North America reported the highest increase in HNWI population, at 13.2 percent, with a growth in wealth of 13.8 percent.
