Has Peter Hargreaves struck gold for the second time?

Peter Hargreaves, the co-founder of FTSE 100 constituent Hargreaves Lansdown, could be on the verge of striking gold for a second time, as a result of his investment in Blue Whale Capital, a London-based investment management firm.

Although the firm is still very small with only around £225 million of client assets under management at 31 December 2019, the LF Blue Whale Fund, its sole investment vehicle, produced a return of 27.6 percent during 2019 to consolidate its position as one of the top performing UK authorised funds that invests in global equities.
