Baroness Helena Morrissey DBE has left St James’s Place (SJP) after a year to join investment platform AJ Bell.
She joins AJ Bell as a non-executive director (NED) and, subject to regulatory and shareholder approval, will be appointed as chair at the firm’s next Annual General Meeting, scheduled for January 2022.
Ms Morrissey will succeed Les Platts, who has been chair since 2014.
She will join the board as chair designate on 1 July.
