UK inflation hit 9.1 percent in May, leaving the Bank of England “stuck between a rock and a hard place”.
This is a marginal increase on the nine percent recorded in April, but is not expected to be the peak. The BoE has already warned inflation is expected to climb to 11 percent later in the year.
