Mattioli Woods’ profit increase fueled by acquisitions

Mattioli Woods has increased its pre-tax profits by 7.1 percent to £6 million for the six months ended 30 November 2019 as the firm’s profit outlook for the full year remains in line with management’s expectations.

This follows a trading update in January, where the firm reported growth in all key metrics.

Revenues were up 3.8 percent to £30.3 million from £29.2 million the previous year. This included organic revenue growth of 1.8 percent compared with 1.3 percent a year earlier.
