John Harris has joined the board of Nedbank Private Wealth as a non-executive director.

Mr Harris was described by the firm as “well-known and respected in the Jersey finance community”. He joins following 12 years as director of the Jersey Financial Services Commission and a member of the board of commissioners.

Prior to this, Mr Harris held the position of international finance director in the Government of Jersey, where he had responsibility for all aspects of the government's policy on the maintenance and enhancement of Jersey's position as a global finance hub.
