Nutmeg criticised for 'opaque' fundraise

Robo-advice platform Nutmeg has been criticised for a lack of transparency around its £4 million crowdfunding raise.

The firm raised approximately £4.20 million from 2,117 investors via online platform CrowdCube last week, but was criticised in the platform’s investor discussion forum for the lack of financial information it provided, and for ignoring questions raised by potential investors.

Nutmeg confirmed to thewealthnet that it had complied with all necessary disclosure requirements for the fundraise.
