Peregrine Black launches Bermuda office

, 08/03/2016

Peregrine & Black Investment Management (PBIM) has set up a Bermuda-based subsidiary offering discretionary investment management services for individuals, trusts, captives and pension funds.

PBIM was founded by ex-Jupiter trio Oliver Pearson-Lund, Phil Gent and Nina Phinn. They joined forces last year with Pat Bullman and Karl Thompson at Peregrine & Black Capital; a firm based in St James’s Square.

Nina Phinn, PBIM\'s chief operating officer, spent 10 years working in Bermuda with Jupiter before taking the London-based role to work with Mr Gent.

Mr Gent, PBIM\'s chief executive, said: "We launched Peregrine & Black Investment Management (Bermuda) Limited in February to enable us to better serve our Caribbean and North American business. We chose Bermuda because of our existing relationships in Bermuda and its strong reputation.

“We have done business in Bermuda for many years and are very excited about this latest stage in the growth of Peregrine & Black.”
