Pictet’s Spanish asset and wealth management division has appointed Diego Cavero as a senior private banker to its team in Madrid.

With over 20 years’ industry experience, Mr Cavero joins the firm from Schroders where he has worked for over 16 years, most recently as director general.

During this time he was he was responsible for private banking at Schroders & Co Bank AG in the country and head of the firm’s private banking business in Spain.

Before that, he was an associate director at Chase Manhattan Bank for more than three years. He began his career at Banco Central Hispano in New York.
