Edinburgh-based private bank Hampden & Co reported income up by 36 percent in its fourth year of trading, as it was boosted by the acquisition of Smith & Williamson’s loan book.
The bank said lending had increased 54 percent to £203.8 million during the full-year 2019, including the £31 million contribution from the December Smith & Williamson deal.
