Private client boutique chair steps down after 18 months

Private client manager Hawksmoor Investment Management has announced its chair, James Brent, is stepping down after 18 months in his role.

The firm did not provide an explanation for Mr Brent’s departure but said in a statement they were “sorry” to see him leave and that he had made an “invaluable contribution”. He leaves at the end of June.

Mr Brent was appointed to Hawksmoor’s board in January 2018 as a non-executive director, before taking the chair role a year later.
