Trading and advice firm ITI Capital has hired a man with substantial experience in cryptocurrencies as its capital markets head.

Steve Kelso joins from Galaxy Digital, an investment management company which describes itself as “the bridge between the crypto and institutional worlds”.

At Galaxy, he established its European business over the last two years, prior to which he was the chief executive of FirstRand’s multi-asset business, Ashburton International.

Mr Kelso started his career at Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers, where he ran index options trading.
