Santander Wealth Management & Insurance (WM&I) has strengthened its sustainable investment unit.
The firm has appointed Laura Blanco to lead its ESG strategy unit and Ana Rivero as sustainable investment director. Augusto Caro also joins the firm as global head of ESG at Santander Asset Management (SAM).
The unit was created last year to strengthen Santander’s efforts to "combat climate change, protect human rights, and promote good corporate governance".
