UBS: Almost two thirds of women let their spouse make financial decisions

Nearly two thirds (62 percent) of women in the UK let their spouse take the lead on important financial decisions, according to the latest UBS Investor Watch research, entitled ‘Own Your Worth’.

However, 68 percent expect to outlive their spouse, meaning they will have to make financial decisions at some point in their life.

As part of the research nearly 3,700 married women, widows and divorcees in Brazil, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Mexico, Singapore, Switzerland, the UK and the US were surveyed.
