Wealth manager raises £80 million to fund global acquisitions

Wealth manager Kingswood Group has secured up to £80 million in funding from a fund manager, to fund its acquisition pipeline.

The funds from Pollen Street Capital - £40 million initially, followed by a second instalment of the same amount - will be issued via convertible preference shares.

Kingswood said the £80 million would be used to fund acquisitions in the US, UK, and Asia.
