UK local authorities could provide growth conscious wealth management firms with a new source of business, according to the data contained in the latest Taxpayers’ Alliance (TA) annual survey of the remuneration packages paid to senior employees.

During the 2022/23 tax year, 3,106 town hall bosses received six figure remuneration packages according to the TA, the highest in almost a decade.
