Mark Barnett

Well-known fund manager Mark Barnett has left Invesco after 24 years, following a prolonged period of underperformance.

Mr Barnett was a former protégé of Neil Woodford and assumed responsibility for managing many of the funds overseen by Mr Woodford following the latter’s departure from Invesco to establish Woodford Investment Management (WIM).

But Mr Barnett's performance has since been poor.
