Brown Shipley, the UK arm of KBL European Private Bankers, has recruited Rory Tapner, a former chief executive of Coutts Group, as its new chairman.
Mr Tapner, who assumes his new position today (10 June) succeeds David Rough.
Mr Rough will, however, remain a director of the bank until August to facilitate a smooth handover of responsibilities.
