Cazenove Capital, the UK wealth management arm of Schroders plc, has reinforced its board by recruiting Paul Drechsler and Charlie Porter as independent non-executive directors.

Mr Drechsler, a former chairman of both Bibby Line Group and Wates Growth as well as a former president of the CBI, has extensive experience of working with successful family businesses and entrepreneurs, two market segments where Cazenove hopes to increase its presence.

He is a regular speaker at initiatives such as Lloyds Development Capital’s "Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders" programme.
