Ex-Credit Suisse boss accepted pay cut over spying saga

Former Credit Suisse boss Tidjane Thiam took a 15 percent pay cut in his final year in the job, as he took responsibility for a spying scandal which rocked the bank.

Mr Thiam’s 2019 pay packet amounted to CHF 10.7 million, compared to CHF 12.6 million in 2018.
