Former Credit Suisse chief executive Tidjane Thiam is raising $250 million for a special purpose vehicle which will invest in financial services businesses globally, the Financial Times has reported.
The FT quoted “people familiar with the matter”, who said JP Morgan Chase, including chief executive Jamie Dimon, were assisting with the raise for the special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), to be listed in New York.
